Single Session Portraits from Life
A single-session portrait from life in oil or charcoal is a great way to capture the essence of your personality and creating a memorable story of the art piece for your home or office. Jonathan is very active and conversational during the entire process to help the sitter feel relaxed and at ease. A session is typically 2-5 hours depending on medium with short breaks every 15-20 minutes.

1. Frames can be provided for an additional cost.
2. This is limited to teens and adults in order to be sure they hold a single position during the session.
3. Travel greater than 30 minutes will require additional fees for time and expenses.
A quality portrait in oil or charcoal can take anywhere from 30 to 100+ hours to complete depending on size and complexity. The base fee is for a head and shoulders, increases in size, number of figures, and complexity will be negotiated.
