This recently finished painting is on display at 311 West Martin Street Gallery in Raleigh, NC until the end of the month. Medium is oil, size is 32" x 66". The reference photos were taken using single red, blue and green lights to achieve a full spectrum of color.

The latest version of Painter has some speed and feature enhancements that I found attractive. These quick tests were done on an iMac with a i3 processor. Anything less and there is noticeable lag.

The digital figure studies from life are usually done in under 60 minutes.

I've been experimenting more with painting digitally from life with a wacom tablet, photoshop, shuttlepro and my labtop. Here are two of my first attempts. The one on the left was done in about 45 minutes at the end of a model session. The one on the right is a little closer to 90 minutes.
